The Korean Consulate General in San Francisco has the jurisdiction of Northern California(48 counties), Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, where more than 220,000 overseas Koreans are actively engaged in various fields such as IT, law, medicine, and other small and medium business.
he Consulate is committed to assisting more Korean companies in successfully entering into the U.S market and further facilitating the mutual cooperation of our two countries in industrial and technological sectors, in light of the favorable location in and around Silicon Valley, where the global startup ecosystem is firmly established and the next growth engine, such as IT and biotechnology is firmly rooted.
The Consulate has greatly appreciated the dedication of the overseas Koreans to settle down in the United States and to develop the Korean-American communities. The Consulate is also working hard to provide necessary assistance in building up networks between the younger generation groups and in politically empowering the Korean-American communities.
In addition, the Consulate has been greatly interested in ensuring the safety and personal protection of Korean citizens living in our jurisdiction under this unprecedented global pandemic.
