KAN-WIN provides comprehensive, survivor-centered services addressing gender-based violence in the Park Ridge, IL community and throughout the greater Chicagoland area. Operating since 1990, the organization delivers a full spectrum of specialized programs designed to support Asian American survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, along with individuals from all communities seeking help. The agency operates a 24-hour multilingual crisis hotline staffed by bilingual advocates and supported by professional language interpretation services, ensuring immediate support for victims regardless of their primary language. KAN-WIN's Legal Advocacy Program empowers immigrant survivors to understand and exercise their rights, providing direct crisis intervention and ongoing legal support tailored to the unique barriers many survivors face. The organization's Transitional Housing Program helps survivors establish safe, stable homes free from violence through intensive wrap-around services.
