About Korean American Association of Chicago

The Korean American Association of Chicago (KAAC) serves as a comprehensive resource and advocacy organization dedicated to supporting the Korean American community across the Chicago metropolitan area and throughout Illinois. Since its establishment in 1962, KAAC has evolved into the official representative body for approximately 150,000 Korean Americans in the state, providing essential services and guidance on critical matters including U.S. culture, economy, education systems, social services, and political engagement. The organization functions as a vital information center, offering necessary counsel to Korean Americans navigating life in the United States while simultaneously promoting awareness and appreciation of Korean culture to other ethnic groups throughout the region.
