Korean American Behavioral Health Association, Inc. (KABHA) is a multidisciplinary professional organization serving the Flushing, NY community and beyond with comprehensive behavioral health services and expertise. Founded in 2001 by dedicated mental health professionals, KABHA specializes in addressing mental health and special education needs within the Korean American community and other immigrant populations. The organization provides a wide range of professional services including free consultations and referrals, continuing education programs for mental health professionals and special educators, and evidence-based research on behavioral health issues. KABHA's service offerings encompass family support groups, mental health awareness workshops, media campaigns addressing stigma and misconceptions, and specialized training initiatives such as Gatekeeper training projects.
