It was in the early 1970s that the Korean community began to form in Orange County. As always, the founding general meeting of the Korean American Association was held centered on people who had a common purpose in 1979, when they gradually found stability with the blood and sweat of the early immigrants who began to take root here in Orange County. Through events such as the Korea-U.S. Friendship Night, friendship with the mainstream American community in the region was strengthened, and the Korean American community, which was centered in Garden Grove, now extends to Fullerton and Irvine. .
