Korean Society of Oregon

The Korean Society of Oregon (KSO) is a comprehensive community organization serving the Portland, OR area and Southwest Washington region with a diverse range of cultural, educational, and recreational programs designed to enrich the lives of Korean residents and their families. Operating from its Portland location, KSO provides structured education classes, music instruction, art and dance programs, and recreational activities including Go, fishing, and mountain climbing to foster cultural engagement and personal development. The organization demonstrates a strong commitment to intergenerational support, offering specialized programs and active assistance to serve the wellbeing of Korean elders within the 40,000-strong Korean population across Oregon.
