About New Jersey Korean-American Parents Association
BCKAPA (Bergen County Korean-American Parents Association) is a parent-supported organization whose purpose is to support the Korean-American students and their families as well as school educators and administrators by providing multi-cultural experiences through various cultural outreach programs and educational workshops. The purpose of BCKAPA is to bridge the cultural gap that exists in our school communities and to integrate the diverse communities in which we live.
BCKAPA is based in Bergen County and is an IRC 501(C)(3) non-profit, non-political, and non-religious charitable organization.
BCKAPA's mission is to support and enhance the lives of Korean-American students and parents as well as providing support and increasing cultural awareness to the educators and administrators of Bergen county schools.
