USC Korean American Student Association

The Asian Pacific American Student Assembly (APASA) at the University of Southern California serves as a comprehensive cultural and programming organization dedicated to celebrating Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) heritage on campus. Based in Los Angeles, CA, APASA functions as a cultural assembly under the Programming Branch of USC's Undergraduate Student Government, providing essential support and resources to the APIDA student community.

APASA represents and coordinates 37 APIDA-interest student organizations at USC, collectively serving nearly a quarter of the university's undergraduate student body. The organization facilitates member organizations through dedicated funding and advisement, ensuring robust support for diverse cultural initiatives across campus. Their programming includes signature annual events such as Night Market, Cultural Arts Expo, Speaker Night, and Community Dinner, which foster cultural celebration and community engagement.

The organization's mission centers on creating intentional, intersectional programming that educates students about APIDA history, heritage, and traditions while building meaningful connections. APASA operates with a structured leadership team including Co-Executive Directors, an Assistant Director, Finance Director, Communications Chair, and Web Development Director, all working to advance the organization's vision.

Beyond campus activities, APASA demonstrates commitment to the broader Los Angeles community through dedicated work in South Central and surrounding areas. The organization prioritizes fostering unity and growth within the APIDA Trojan community while maintaining partnerships across USC and beyond to uplift diverse voices and explore intersectional identities.
